Urban Environments
The Urban Environments Course (303M) was developed out of the growing need for tactical and rescue teams to land safely in urban settings. This course exposes students to the unique complexities of choosing and executing a landing within the urban environment, building the judgment required to operate in one of the most challenging landing environments a canopy pilot will face.
Students learn to evaluate unconventional LZs, understand how turbulence behaves within the urban landscape, and develop the planning, flying, and team-landing skills necessary to operate effectively in dense, obstacle-filled surroundings.
Requirements:
- : Free-fall or solo qualified, and must have attended a 101/201M course within the past 18 months, with 202M and/or 203M preferred.

- Optimal course size: 6-12
