301M
Small LZ Environents
The Small LZ Environments Course (301M) is a 5-day program built to give teams the advanced skills and judgment needed to land confidently in small, constrained landing zones. Ideal for small teams operating in tight or obstacle-heavy spaces, the course goes beyond basic accuracy training to address the real challenges pilots face when the margin for error shrinks.
Students work through essential principles in turbulence management, team breakdown techniques, and advanced accuracy — learning how to read shifting wind conditions, adjust formation strategy on the fly, and execute precise, controlled landings even when terrain, obstacles, or airspace limit the usable LZ. By the end of the course, teams will be equipped to apply these skills confidently in complex, mission-relevant scenarios where a small LZ is the only option.
- Must be Free-fall or solo qualified, and must have gone through a previous Flight-1 course in the past 18 months. Highly recommend having attended the 102 and 201 course.
- Minimum course size: 4
- Maximum course size: 20
- Optimal course size: 4-10

“Champions are brilliant at the basics.”
