203M
Lead Jumper
The Lead Jumper Course (203M) is a 5-day, jump-intensive program focused on how HAHO jumps are planned, built, flown, and landed. Designed for both new and experienced lead jumpers, this course develops the judgment, technical skill, and confidence necessary to safely and effectively lead a team on target.
Students work through the full scope of lead jumper responsibilities — mission planning, formation build strategy, in-air decision-making, and navigation — across a range of operational conditions, including day and night jumps, and scenarios with and without navigational equipment. By the end of the course, lead jumpers will be equipped to adapt to changing conditions in real time and guide their team safely and accurately to the target.
